A huge show of public support for the Water Pressure Group and our bold and defiant campaign of civil disobedience to get rid of commercialised water and user-charges!
This is a significant result.  City Vision will now see the repercussions from selling out on the biggest issue facing Auckland City residents.
Those who have tried to write off the WPG as an insignificant vocal minority group will now be forced to take notice.

The next step is to consolidate and build the wastewater bill boycott, and collect more water meters.
We need to get Metrowater dumped and stop the commercialised model for water services spreading throughout the Auckland region via the Auckland

Regional Water Review.
What we want is those 6000 plus people who voted for the WPG to now back up their vote with direct action.
We urgently need more funds to put out another 90,000 leaflets to the rest of Auckland City to encourage the civil disobedience, throughout the rest of the city.

An excellent result!!!
Thanks to all those who helped!!

(The WPG will be attending the Grey Lynn Park Festival this coming Saturday (Nov 18), and giving public demonstrations on how to unrestrict and disconnect water meters.  We plan to push hard for donations, and encourage as many people as possible to join the campaign of civil disobedience!)
